Barbara Reese, Chairwoman

Ms. Reese has worked as an educator and social anthropologist for over 20 years in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA and overseas. Early on in her career as an educator, she received a National Science Foundation grant to train as a science teacher.  Ms. Reese has lived and worked in Indonesia for eight years. In addition, she worked on several USAID funded Girls' Education projections, including the Ambassador's Scholarship Program, which coordinated with NGOs in Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Ms. Reese received her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University, Massachusetts and her Master’s degree in International Development Education from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where presently she is a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology. She also has exposure to several languages, such as German, Spanish, Indonesian, and Arabic.

Stephen Manasseh

Mr. Manasseh is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Maryland and had 20 years of experience working for the Department of Defense, Defense Contract Audit Agency as an auditor for the first 15 years and a Financial Advisor for five years. He is currently working for U.S. Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service as a Cost and Pricing Analyst. 

Mr. Manasseh received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Pittsburg State University, Kansas and His Master of Science degree in Accounting from North Texas State University, Texas.

Agus Wong

Mr. Wong is an entrepreneur and has served in many different ministries since high school. Prior to coming to the US, he has lived and worked in Singapore, Balikpapan, and Jakarta. Mr. Wong was born and raised in Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia and attended a high school in Yogyakarta. Outside of work, he finds joy in volunteering and makes time to exercise, hike, and bike. He currently lives in sunny Florida.

Mr. Wong received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga, Indonesia. Throughout his high school and college years he came to appreciate the opportunity to receive a good education.
